This school is incredibly unorganized. Most teachers are extremely disrespectful to the students. If they want the students to respect them, give them respect! You expect them to be quiet, do their work, do exactly what you tell them to but you curse at them, scream and are just plain mean to the kids you are meant to teach and protect. The lunches are not sufficient for these growing children. The only reason that I gave two stars is because I know that some of the staff like Mrs. Hast and Mr. Isamoyer are trying to teach and trying to make the school better. Not that they are the only ones but they are who comes to mind. And the pacer test! Students are required to run back and forth the entire length of the gym according to beeps that speed up over time. What about the children with asthma? What about the kids who can’t do physical activities for extended periods of time? The kids are no longer allowed in the locker rooms because SOME of the students were misbehaving. Not all, SOME of them. So now in the heat of May, kids are expected to wear their hot uniforms while being forced to run around the gym play games . I am disappointed in this school. I really thought it would be a great place to go. It isn’t. Don’t tell me to contact you about my problems because I already have. I’m done telling you what’s wrong and expecting you to fix it because it never happens. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Hi! I’m a 7th grader and I go to this school and there are many great things this place has to offer. There are field trips to places schools don’t usually go to and they have many interesting electives. Plus, the new contract with the bus company totally paid off. I’ve only been at this school for 2 years and I gotta admit that it didn’t start off so good due to many complaints or complications. Even though they improved on some things, they still got stuff they need to work on. So, the school almost got shut down because they weren’t giving enough tuition and to solve this problem, they decided to make school LONGER. There are ups and downs to this plan due to the fact that this makes the students want to learn less and making them sit in their seats too long will make them NOT pay attention. The effects of this method is flawed but it depends on the students. A word of advice, make sure you guys do better on getting to the students and understand each other better because the school depends on students and their education.
This school had issues from the beginning. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt. This is my sons second year at the school and he wants out! And Im taking him, this has some staff who care a most that dont. My son has been having issues with a teacher I been calling the school for a week to see if I can get a meeting with the teacher and I get nothing. No call back when you leave a message and when you do speak with someone they say the teacher will call you back. Ive been waiting for a call back for two days now and still nothing! Also the bus system is horrible! Please dont sent your children to this school!
