We love this school and it is worth the commute from Paradise. It’s a small charter school so the kids can get to know each other and have that feel of community. If one losses track of assignments, they catch it, way before a parent can and send them to a period to complete it. They also try to incorporate truly important skills like gardening. The arts, music, and dance are so much more important than the ability to memorize useless history dates. I would love to see all schools teach other important skills like nutrition (ex.cereal is not a real food, eat eggs and greens), how to handle money, how to treat each other using the virtues, meditation for brain health, yoga, the harmful effects of video games, energy medicine. Those are my thoughts. This school comes closer than the others and I’m happy Bryson is there! Mom- Vickie
Inspire is the school I wish was available to me as a high schooler, and I’m eternally grateful that it’s been here for all three of my kids. The passion, creativity, and professionalism of the teachers is evident in classes and clubs, outings and performances. Their genuine concern for students’ best interests is evident every day on campus, in every classroom, studio, and lab. They really do challenge kids to be their best selves, to strive to do their best, and shoot for their highest goals. The community engagement and tolerance that is fostered, expected, and modelled is so refreshing, and so needed by the young adults being sent out into the world. If you are thinking about where to send your 8th grader, choose Inspire. Like me, you’ll be so very glad you did!
My daughter is graduating in May, and although I never doubted her academic ability, I knew social issues could be a challenge. She’s always had at least one adult on campus she could count on and loved the academic challenges and support from her teachers. She admitted this year that kids here are really cool. Yay! Inspire offers an abundance of electives, opportunities to try new things and be okay to fail at them, a close knit community where students are from from anonymous and a rich curriculum. She was rarely bored or tired of classes because they were mostly interesting and often fun. We’re lucky to have Inspire in our community. Thanks to teachers and staff for your hard work to make Inspire an amazing school.
