I had called before visiting the school, and they said I could come anytime between 12:00 and 3:30 p.m. on weekdays to see the school. I first went to the administration building and met with Ms. Marwa, who was welcoming and nice and gave me all the necessary information. For the school tour, she asked me to enter the campus from another gate and ask for the same, which I did. The kindergarten reception had two girls who tried to help me get a school tour. They both requested the Arab supervisor, who was seated right in front of the reception in her office busy chatting with other staff and using her mobile phone, to attend to me. She kept rolling her eyes every time they asked her to take me around. The fourth time I asked, I could see she was arguing with the receptionist and told her off. The receptionist came back to tell me that the supervisor wouldn’t come, and the coordinator would show me around. The coordinator arrived, completely ignored me, and attended to another Arab parent who came in 30 minutes after me.
If you do not want new admissions, please tell us on the phone so we don’t take time off work to see the school. These schools are not even open on weekends, so how can parents have a tour? And how will anyone register when the staff’s attitude is so disgusting?
I worked in another one of the BEAM schools before, and I came back five years later to admit my child, and this is the treatment they have towards their customers. I have never seen such a shameless supervisor who does not even hide her displeasure and is so rude and unpleasant.
I even called the admissions office (I think I heard her name as Safa) to complain, but they didn’t say anything to me except a meaningless “I am sorry for that.” They didn’t even bother to ask for my details or check on the issue to get back to me. I didn’t even get a call back. If you don’t need new admissions, please make it clear on your website instead of wasting people’s time! So disappointed, I will not be recommending this school to anyone EVER!
