My son is growing and thriving at Iron Academy. I knew from the moment I saw the incredible photographs lining the hallways– photos of the boys camping, hiking, working, and praying together– that IA is a unique and wonderful place. We appreciate the hands-on focus of his classes, and he loves the opportunities throughout the day to get outside and play ping-pong, basketball, or frisbee. I love the distinct impression that everyone– students, faculty, staff, and yes, parents– feels so positive about their involvement in this school. If you have a rising 6th to 12th grader, you should definitely come and take a tour!
This school is a truly unique, special place for your young man to grow in Christ! They focus on discipling boys into becoming young men first – which allows a less distracted space for the academics to follow afterward. This has been so critical for our ninth grader who has finally found a school that understands how his mind works, how his body needs to move periodically and how developing great parent, peer and teacher relationships are critical to the holistic success of each teen individually but also men generally in our culture. Our son is thriving here…so can yours.
