An absolute joke. Teachers do not communicate with parents, guidance counselor does not respond when repeatedly called/emailed. My kid had an issue w a student; teacher ignored it & VP said she couldn’t do Anything unless there is an actual fight! My kid ended up needing counseling. Told principal & he said teachers don’t address that sort of thing.

School safety let kids run & swear in the halls, it’s not clean. Absolutely horrible

51 is a good school there are amazing programs like gymnastics, digital art , basketball , dance etc. I go to the school and all I can say is this school is wonderful . There are some nasty kids and rude teachers but overall everyone should defiantly send their child here for a great education and an amazing experience.
Terrible disgrace for a school they said they changed the principal does nothing when there is a problem and its very dirty nasty language lazy teachers mean principal he came into my classroom and yelled for?? no reason at all im in 6th grade teachers call us the h word slow and stuff ????????
