I was a student at I.S. 145 from 2000 to 2003. I was bullied constantly. I was bullied because of my weight and my teeth. All these years later I still carry the pain of this. I spoke with the Principal Mr. Rodriguez the day of the Dr. Beckham memorial and told him I would write him a letter. I had spoken with Dr. Beckham about my bullying and promised I would talk about it. I never received a letter back from Principal Rodriguez. It’s sad that I still deal with this. I remember science teacher Dr. Wolhandler making fun of my weight in front of the whole class. I remember Mr. Ambrosio the gym teacher making fun of me fun not being able to hit the ball. I’ll never forget breaking down crying. They say the school’s changed. Maybe. I just wish I could forget.
Terrible rude staff always giving attitude saying how much they dont want to be here like B then why you working here in the first place I think they hire staff only with menopause they only pay attention to popular kids mostly known kids but teachers giving attitude always but there are some who are nice only 1 percent go to Luis Armstrong maybe that school is good but dont send your kid here
i dont think this is a great school. Once my cousin got suspended… he got framed and they knew that! He was bengali thats why he got suspended, but the kid who framed him was spanish! That is unfair!!! Also, my cousin told me that there are gangs at that school! Not good! But he said that the academic performances are great! But in life you cant be a smart person but have a bad addittude!
