Dont send your kids if you dont HAVE to.. I’m a parent of a child who just graduated and I will tell you the faculty & teachers are good for nothing especially if you have a struggling student. My sin was here for 2 years and ur was the worst 2 years if his life! I’m beyond grateful to have it over with and say good riddance to this experience. I had a similar experience for 3 years with my daughter there just a few years back and even with myself when i attended in the early 90s. What a waste of educational years. My sincerest condolences to those just beginning there!
I am a graduate and ever since I got there I knew that it would be a better school than PS. 229. I am in Maspeth High School now. I loved the teachers and they were really nice. I plan on visiting the school again because I miss it. I miss all my teachers. Some may think otherwise but I’ll do anything to go back to this school to even see my old teachers and my sister who’s in Bradbury 6b1.
I was bullied in this school. It was terrible. I hardly remembered learning anything good from this school. I just remember mostly being bullied, the school was overcrowed, there were alot of fights and that my class was one of the worst year the school ever had. Unfortunately it was a bad experience for me
