I had a really great experience at this centre. There are such lovely classmates and amazing teachers here! Before enrolling here, I was afraid to speak English, but compared to that time, I have significantly improved my English skills. If you are considering enrolling here, I recommend you do so without hesitation. Especially if your class teacher is “John”, you are very lucky!!!
I spent a great two months at this school and took my English to the next level. All the staff at the school are very friendly, positive, smiling and helpful. The school also offers afternoon conversations and after-school trips with other students and the teacher, which are helpful to further develop language skills. The students here were also very friendly. Finally, thank you to Bridie, Kendrah and Matthew for improving my English.
I have so many good memories from my trips to London to study at ICE! And I have to admit that studying in ICE was the starting point that allowed me to move to Europe, study in English and have international friends! So huge thanks to Tim and amazing teachers!
My experience of working with and sending students to the Islington Centre for English has been incredibly positive.

I have studied here for 4 months and recently finished. Overall, I can say its an average school which provides a somewhat decent education with 10 to 15 people in classes. But sometimes, it can reach up to 20 people when they merge 2 different class.

From my personal experience, I had a good teacher (Richard) and made very good friends during my education. However, sometimes teacher can let his personal views around different cultures get into way and treat his students differently with positive and negative attitudes. If you are asking to many questions, some students can get all the answers easily but some could not be that lucky.

Also, if you think the hygiene of facilities is an important aspect for you, you shouldn’t expect that from this school. Because, even though most of the students complain about the situation of WC and other rooms, management likes to ignore them.
