Nice atmosphere for the most part. The new principle and the ladies in the front office never speak and seems aggravated when I do speak. There is racist tension in the school and I’ll be glad when my child is out. On the other hand there are some really great teachers and assistant principal there who truly have your child’s best interests and that’s who my stars are for. But the principal and front desk secretaries are the first impression and the ones who set the tone of the school that’s who deserves the lack of stars. They really make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed there.
Some of the teachers are very rude and racist towards some of the kids. My kids get picked on by other students and nothing is done until my child does something back to the student and my child gets detention. Some teachers grade work based on the color of their skin. They do not communicate with parents its like pulling teeth trying to get a conference with the teachers. And then they dont want to see you they have the principle mediate for them. They are very rude and unprofessional at this school
