The leadership in this school is appalling. I am horrified at how students and teachers are treated. I have witnessed teachers be bullied and treated incredibly poorly. Decisions made that do not have their staff or students best interests in mind. It is incredibly disappointing to see a leadership team demoralised staff who have passion and dedication to their role as a teacher. Despite contacting the department of education, nothing was done and this school continues to operate at a substandard level. The Principle of this school should be ashamed of her leadership and her behaviour, the bullying extends to the culture of the school and there has been an inability to maintain a workforce because of this.
I have seen several teachers move on from this school and flourish in other environments. I am not surprised to read other reviews that highlight racism and bullying culture.
I would not recommend applying to this school for a job and I would be reluctant to send my child here, I’m sure there are good teachers within the staff mix, but they will be mistreated and will not sustain long term.
if you want your child to be bullied and experience racism and shaming of all sorts then send your child to this school. two of my children went this school. has so many opportunities stolen from them due to stupid made up reasons. the principal Ms Burgess most racist women think she’s related to pauline hansen she should not be working and must be detained. the stories i hear such as student peeing on paper towels and throwing it in students and not getting in trouble because they are white, as well as students being unable to go to out of school competitions and being replaced by white people. overall absolutely horrifying school the teachers the principal even the office ladies. please as a mother don’t let your children go through that there are much better schools in the area to send your kids to. also because some parents of children aren’t able to speak fluent english the staff take advantage of this to the fullest. definitely will be contacting the department of education
A lovely local school with a close-knit student population, which helps to maintain positive teacher-student relationships. The teachers are working hard to accommodate different learning styles and to create a welcoming learning environment. My son loves attending JCPS. Keep up the great work!
The.worst.school.ever why? CUZ MOST OF THE STUDENTS ARE BULLIES NOT JUST THE STUDENTS THE TEACHER’S ASWELL THEY SAY THEY HAVE NO BULLIES BUT THATS A BIG LIE NEARLY EVERYONE IS BULLIES THEY SAW ME DOING NOTHING AT RESSES/LUNCH THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT THE STUDENTS WOULD NOT EVEN BE OFFERING ME TO PLAY WITH THEM ALSO THEY HAVE A VERY STRICT PRINCIPLE AND PE TEACHER
I used to get bullied by some of the students and the teachers did nothing about it, not hating or anything but it could improve, Mrs Garner was a really good teacher i had her in year 5 and i really loved her.
