I love this school <3 why ? Cause i graduated from there 6 years ago. I had attended this school since I was in pre-kinder. Otis was like a second home for me and the teachers and everyone else were like family. Mr. Sanchez is a great principal and Mrs. Herrera was a great vice principal ( may she rest in peace)I highly recommend this school. If i could i would go back and continue to be a student at James Otis and hopefully they still have the same great teachers I had when I was a student here like Mrs. Valente, Mrs. Fabara, Mr. Sifuentes, Mrs. Cisneros, Mrs. Diaz, etc.
This school does not know how to deal with bullying. My daughter constantly encountered pack bullying which affected her education. The principal did what she was supposed as best she could but this group of girls were horribl. Just an all out bad experince.
My son is currently attending this school and instead of making progress like he did Stowe he is having a huge set back in every way possible. His teacher is okay over all I think it’s more the system they have.
