Robinson Secondary High School is one of the largest if not the largest in Northern Virginia. It is a great place to learn about the history of the forming of the 13 colonies, the Civil War. Mt.Vernon. Washington D.C. Congress, the Senate, the U.S. Mint, Bull Run Washington’s Grist Mill. Just to name a few. The teachers are great and will go the extra mile to help a student. It in not the teachers fault that a student dose poorly, it is the students fault. He/she doesn’t go to the teacher and say I do not understand this. The teacher want sea the student grasp what the are being taught. They may even suggest a tutor. They want to see them understand what they are being taught. But it is two way street. The student all so needs to put forth an effort as well. I really wish I had taken the advice I have given.
I got an excellent education at Robinson. I was well-prepared for college and was involved in a lot of extracurricular activities that had nothing to do with football. The school is huge, doubtless, but that also provides a place for everyone, including us artsy literary types. The subschools insured that it didn’t feel as big as it was.
I’m only referencing the baseball field situation. What a journey from the parking lot! Wow! These should have real bathrooms somewhere near the fields and not just those 2 stinky port a potties. Those are my only gripes.
