Dear, Jamestown public schools I am A 7th grade student who attends this school all my grades are in the 90’s or above and I have to say the current school system makes me completely miserable every day. Not just because the teachers or all of my fellow students but because I feel that I leave everyday with more sadness than newly received with knowledge. I don’t like the school system because:
#1 I feel we don’t get enough winter break.

#2 I feel like some of the teachers are unfair and they may feel as if they are superiors to us students. Example: some days on the loud speakers a school staff member will announce “quote of the day” but most of the time it is just narcissistic quotes to make the teachers feel better about themselves which leaves me wondering their true thoughts or emotions.

#3 Although in the beginning of this paragraph I said I am not miserable because of my classmates- it is part of the issue because I feel as if some kids get treated worse than me because of their sometimes disruptive attitude. You should NEVER judge someone based off their past even if the moment was only yesterday.
With that said I would like to give some recommendations on how to make us students less miserable because I understand that school is not meant to be a place of joy but of learning although if this was true I would have MUCH more neutral feelings with school and likely only leave with knowledge. But with school I believe you should revert the break schedule to it’s original dates like giving two weeks off of winter break removing the “mid winter break” entirely and making a weeklong thanksgiving break again and after that my more positive feelings towards school would slightly return. Even though I highly doubt any school employee will see this message I hope one worker does just to spark an idea of happiness in the school but I Don’t know that’s just my thoughts.

You let a young boy get beat up off school grounds and you are not doing anything to the kids that jumped him. but yet you’re trying to suspend a child that couldn’t defend himself against 10 other children. Apparently, your school system is disrupt and disgusting. I mean look at your other reviews.
