Attended this school in 2014. Great school that really teaches you about driving tractor trailers. Most these other schools in NC you are done in 4 weeks.. that is not enough time to really get a full grasp and solid foundation on truck driving. This school was 8 weeks, Monday through Friday. You were NOT guaranteed to graduate. Don’t think just because you are taking the course that automatically means you get a CDL. It’s a tough course but worth it. The students that leave from JCC can drive circles around other graduates from other trucking schools in NC. I promise you.
Truck Driver Training School at JCC was the most challenging experience and most rewarding accomplishment that I’ve been a part of. I highly recommend their program for anyone looking at getting started in the transportation industry. I am looking forward to working as a Manager in Training for a large trucking firm in July.
