I went to the TDS (Therapeutic Day School) here as well as Baden, and they truly helped me with my mental illness and overcoming life problems. In mainstream high school, I was seen as a mute who could not talk. But in reality, I was depressed and had anxiety. The big schools were a hostile environment for my broken mind, and being transferred to the TDS program was the thing that actually saved me from becoming suicidal or a criminal. Since graduating, and even up to now as an adult 10 years later, I’m able to initiate conversations with strangers without problem (just a bit quiet). I no longer have the dark thoughts from middle school. I’d sincerely recommend for any parent who has a child that is suffering or even showing hints from any mental or social or emotional issues, to please consider Therapeutic Day School at Baden (SSFUSD) or Serramonte Del Rey (JUHSD). It really can save your teen’s life from a future of hate, crime, loneliness, and sadness.
The Superintendent’s weekly updates indicate how preoccupied she is with DEI and CRT support. She wastes time and $$$$ not improving academics. She doesn’t care where students go after high school. That’s what you get from a sanctuary city advocate – someone giving themselves a pay raise without elevating student academic results.
