I have not had a great experience with this school. Mrs. Waters is the worst. When you reach out to her with concerns about your child, she doe not respond for days, and then gets defensive in her replies. My child is having a really hard time with Math, and I have asked for meeting with the Principal, the social worker and Mrs. Waters, during our meeting, she got up and walked out 3 minutes into the meeting, because I asked her if he was choosing not to do his work out of defiance or a lack of understanding. She refuses to communicate with me other than writing little notes in my sons planner. I have asked the principal to change my sons teacher, an he and the social worker literally just ignored my email. The lack of support and communication are ridiculous. **After months of ignoring my emails, She had the nerve to send me an email with two words “Thank you” on the day my son was finally changed classrooms** Shauna Waters is a sorry excuse for an educator.
I was trying to get my son to a school outside the freemont boundaries and was having a lot of trouble with the district and Bennion elementary. Dr McCarty was very kind and understanding. He has a wonderful caring personality that put my worries at ease. I was grateful for his sincere help with my situation. I’m glad my child is going to Fremont. His teacher has been amazing and I line that she uses the classdojo app to stay in communication with me while I work.
I love this school my 3 kids have attended this school and we love it. Dr McCarty sucks butt and is a major ass hole and would love it if he retired his old ass. I love the other people at that school. Dr McCarty is very racist!!
