This school caters toward the mentally and physically able. In my experience your child most likely wont receive the help they require, whether it be an elevator pass if they cant use the stairs or mental health facilities. I was in an accident with a car and didnt receive transportation until 3 months after. If your child isn’t already diagnosed with something mentally, you aren’t able to easily access the provision that they need and its extremely hard to get. Overall the school is very unorganized and is in a location where many bad events happen. not to mention the traffic. This school, in my opinion, instead of fostering young minds. It kills creativity and the desire to learn.
It’s my child’s first year in high school and I feel like she doesn’t get the help she should be getting I’ve also tried to reach out leaving numerous of messages for the principal explaining I would like to schedule a meeting to talk about my daughter’s work and how can we get her to do better but School is about to finish and I never got a call back to talk about my daughter’s difficulties. Other than us being new to the city it’s really frustrating. My daughter is a very respectful child and deserves better.
