!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL !!
i have been going to this school since the beginning of the year and let me say, it has been HORRIBLE.
i have been getting bullied since one of the “event nights” for standing up for another boy getting bullied (keep in mind, the boy was in 6th grade and the people picking on him where highschoolers.) and the teachers and principle didn’t do anything about it.
then i got barked and got snarky comments in the hallway like “raccoon eyes” for wearing more emo makeup. then these group of girls spread very false rumors about me and now i have to transfer because it is not safe for me to go to school anymore as for we had to write letters to each other about the situation and they threatened me. they still all go to that school, and the school told my parents they’re not doing any form of punishment.
also i haven’t learned a single thing from that school. i just went to school and the only thing i can remember is the people picking on me.
and another thing i learned there is how all the teachers are extremely immature and if you are not their favorites you will not be cared for. one teacher called me and my group the “misfits” when we where walking by her at the end of the school day. teachers will write your kids up for not having a charge computer, or wearing a hood (if the teacher doesn’t like you, other then that hoods are ok and allowed!)
when i was in the councilors office trying to talk about the teachers they pulled out their phones and flat out ignored me and my other 2 friends who where in the room.
i would never recommend this school to anyone, because now 4 people are leaving that terrible environed because of the lack of discipline to bullying.
do NOT go to this school if you dress emo/alternative and you express yourself more then the standard of a teenager to these days.
i thought Preble was bad. but then i experienced this school and this place made my mental heath terrible. “mental heath matters” until one of your student has been a target of bullying for standing up for another student.

I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here because most of the “bad” ones are right. Since the beginning of the school year I’ve been picked on because of my looks and the teachers decided over and over again to not listen to there students about concerns like that. Maybe they listen but I mean choice to do nothing about it. I have to move schools because of the bullying, I don’t understand why they don’t do anything about people getting bullied and just the negative energy there. I came there to escape the negative energy at my previous public schools just to get the same energy anyways. I hope they change there ways in how they choose to handle situations like that before something bad happens.
Please go to this school it is really a good my mom sent me here when I was in middle school and I am high school and I have been doing good the teachers are so great and so is the principal and what I mean by the is me and my friend group had a problem with a student were they were making us uncomfortable by saying thing about black people and we want to our principal and she took care of that and for me I would say go to this school it is a really great school we can work at our own pace and still get caught up on our work so thank you to everyone who worked and still works at John Dewey Academy Of Learning
