I go to Gomes, and I would like to say that it is really great and unique. My best friend currently attends Chadbourne, and she thinks that both schools are equally great in their own ways. (She likes Chadbourne a lot.) Although others might disagree (AHEM *cough*) I believe that there is no reason for this little “war” to start and just causes a variety of dilemmas. I personally do not appreciate being violated and hopefully Chadbourne pioneers feel the same way too. Treat others the way you want to be treated. And yes, even though I am a Gomes student, I am also aware that other Gomes pupils are trashing the Chadbourne page and the ruthless carnage of insults should halt. The only thing that this tussle fosters is a distraction for both schools. People, stop. It’s annoying and disrespectful for everyone, no matter what school you attend. You might say that you are defending your school, but everyone will be in the same boat in a couple of years and onward. (Junior high, high school, you get what I mean?) Like what Sabrina Cai said, there really is no point in fighting.
I would like to thank the people would stood up against the rivalry between the schools. I agree that we will soon be team mates riding a new journey of junior high together. No school is better in my personal opinion. Most schools have the same events going on like young authors, science fair, reflections, etc. We are all run by one district. To me, this rivalry is just like fighting against your aunt or cousin. They are not biologically together but they are all from the same parents. So puh-leez just keep peace
the teachers are super cool and encouraging. they always help me understand stuff i don’t understand. and yes, i’ll say our egos are sort of biggish, but isn’t everyone’s ego biggish too? the students are funny and make witty comments. they’re nice and share their chocolate. (thx to those peeps out there who did share their choco with me) overall, we are not a stinky school. i go to chadbourne every other week, and msj every friday so i know the other schools pretty well!
