I don’t like this school, kids are sent there as punishment for what ever they did wrong. Regardless if their actions were extremely bad, or a 1st time mistake. … they ALL are punished the same. I dont agree with placingg a “A/B student ” who has never been in trouble, but following friends, she made a mistake. But she’s being punished the same as a student who was expelled, plus she has a disability which played a role in her mistake. SMH n the lunch is very little, n questionable as to the expiration date. Their academics there aren’t as strong as public schools. Staff at orientation admitted that when a child transitions back to her regular school, it will b intense cause she’s used to beinh given less class & homework, than the regular school. I’ve gone in person to see her counselor because my calls weren’t returned, but when I get to journeys im told I have to call even if im at the same location o_0 I can go on but im so disgusted, im done >:[

Mrs. Nieves is avoiding me and has been very rude. This place needs a better guidance counselor that can actually handle her work load given. When you call this school you get Ms. Ribbons and that’s it. I have left multiple messages on even the deans phone and it’s still a month that my daughter has even been able to get school work via Skyward. No one returns calls. I pray no kid picks up the work ethic by the guidance counselor here.They definitely need a lesson onhow to help kids in need ….a new a new guidance counselor to guide kids to success not failures. I had better experiences with guidance in orange county schools. SMH

As bad as the reviews are, this school is more of a last chance school. If you’re planning to bring your child here thinking it’s a normal school – DON’T, if your child doesn’t act normally they’ll be treated like an inmate and if your child doesn’t act up they may be treated like they would in a public school depending on what grade and what teacher they have. I was a student in this school for a long time and I actually think it’s a great school.
