If it was possible to give a negative rating I would ! The principle Ray Borden is more concerned about making himself look good than doing good for the school. The security guards specifically officer Fields ALWAYS have attitudes and are extremely rude, not only to students but to parents as well. There is absolutely no communication from staff to parents about anything and they obviously don’t learn from their mistakes. If I knew how terrible the principle and administration was I would have never let my kids attend this school.
I graduated from here in 2014. Considering how much we went through, you guys are probably gonna have an easy ride (maybe). I love the Fine Arts department there. Even though the teachers I had are gone, doesn’t mean that it isn’t great. I bet they got another great teacher to do theatre now. But overall, I loved it. My sister went to school there, I went to school there, and I hope one day I will have my kids there too.
It has a great band and right now has a New Director Mr.Davis. The school isn’t bad given what has happen in the past, it has a new principle that is whipping it straight into place. Mr.Hill is just regulating more rules and also has a great team behind him helping us the students get to a better brighter future we want. The best thing for me being in this school is being in the colorguard which is with the band.
