My first year in Brooklyn theater arts (2021-2022) went unexpected. I always gotten bullied and called vulgar names but coming to BTA for a change was not it. The kids in this school is rude and they gossip old things about you. There’s a huge problem with cyber bullying and I got jumped once it was intense. Because of all this gossip and bullying I developed anxiety and felt insecure about myself. I started to go to counseling to calm me down but every week was a issue for me. It got to the point where I would stop eating lunch in the cafeteria instead I will go and eat upstairs. The male staff members are verbally aggressive they curse to communicate with students which is unacceptable. The securities are somewhat helpful but not always. Brooklyn theater arts I’m not trying to throw shade but you guys need to do better but im transferring out ??.
This isn’t the school I wanted to go to, but I’m so happy I did. This school is very easy to pass, the teachers are amazing and very nice and I made amazing friends here ??
