I have been a student for 9 years with good grades, and can happily say that this is the worst school i have ever been too. There has been a lot of issues in the last 3 years, mostly in middle school. The first one was when Ms. Trefz left the school because of her father dying and wanting to teach at high school. The second one is Ms.Kramer…as she discriminates against other students. As a prime example of this, she never punishes the light skinned students but punishes the dark-skinned ones.As the previous reviewer gave a well written example of this, she also brings her personal problems to school. She always say that she has a “situation” at home with her stepson whenever someone asks her when why she’s behind on grading our assignments. She also does this when you’re asking your tablemate for something: “What are doing? Get back to work!” She then will get on facebook or will have texts or calls in the middle of a lesson. The third point is that some students do drugs and the school doesn’t do a thing about it!The only the reason that staff and admin will intervene is because it will harm their reputation at the school and in the district.the foruth point is that they had recently changed tables in lunch because apparently TRYING TO GET 100 KIDS IN ONE ROOM TO SHUT UP IS A GOOD IDEA.MR WISENER thinks of only this idea as a good solution.THE SECOND MAJOR POiNT is at the end of 7th grade, when Mr. Wills, the tlc teacher, left the school.Than they got a teacher and she didn’t have a choice in whether or not she wanted to do it. I WOULD ADD MORE BUT IT’S GETTING TOO LONG.GOOD RIDDANCE TO MS.KRAMER AND TO THIS SCHOOL! Thank god. P.S The Facebook reviews for this school are mostly from teachers and/or biased.
My daughter just finished her last day of 6th grade yesterday. She attended a full year for 5th & 6th grade. I have to say this is one of the worst schools I’ve ever encountered in my entire life and I have seen some pretty bad ones I’ll tell you that much. Mrs. Weeks is THE WORST teacher there! Mrs. Tartallio (the principal) isn’t ANY better. They BOTH have NO common sense and stick by each other’s side like Siamese twins! Mrs. Fontes likes to say inappropriate comments to the kids and gives half ass apologies! Were there some good points? Of course but the bad by far out rules the good! They single kids out and are rude! One of the substitute teachers made a completely inappropriate comment to my daughter in the 5th grade and was never apologized to for it. I highly recommend taking your children elsewhere to attend grade school as this school doesn’t know their ass from their elbows and they have way too many days off during the school year for stupid reasons, just so the teachers don’t have to work as long and so they can have extra days off. NOT okay for the kids. How are they going to learn things if they start something and then have the next 4 days off? Oh and Mrs. Weeks will tell you at the beginning of the school year that nobody is going to get an A in her class! WOW that’s really encouraging to your children! Sounds like somewhere I definitely would NOT want to take my kid to! I’m giving this school -1 million stars!
