Ive been attending KCD for almost my entire life and have decided to leave KCD because this school has unfortunately lost its culture, Tradition, and identity (I would love explain why it has Changed, and if you have questions, feel free to email me). Most of the reviews, regarding the schools community are outdated and have unfortunately changed drastically. I loved KCD because I loved the atmosphere and environment. The school nowadays feels
bland and cheap (even though the tuition at for the high school is 28,100$). Not a lot of originality due by to the small grade which increases the likelihood of your child being picked on as well. Send your kid to KCD if education is your priority and if your childs mental health is none of your concern.
This may be extremely early as far as a review is concerned because my son just started junior kindergarten but my son loves it and is obviously learning in a new way. His JK teacher is working on her doctorate and the has been with the same assistant teacher for 10 years. That level of teacher (Mrs Andris) cannot be compared to public education and i doubt many private schools education levels.
Lovely campus and facilities. We used to live next to the school and went to several concerts and performances there. We also sent our children to some of their summer day camps. Would be a 5 star review except for their pricing. They are one of the more expensive private schools in east Louisville.
