I have had nothing but horrible experiences at this school since Dr. Mathis has left. Not all the staff but majority of the staff is out of hand! Their are rude and very disrespectful. It seems like the principal can not keep his staff in control. My children have been to different schools in the district and this is the only one that I have the most issues with the Staff and the Students picking on my child. Do not put your child in this school unless u want to deal with the drama from staff members and students.
This school requires students to work harder than most schools. The teachers take their teaching to higher levels. The students that love this school are students who want to learn, and take their education seriously. Those who complain about the school are parents and students who can not keep up with the vigorous demands of the curriculum.
I think Mr.Mason is a great and caring principle at Brooker Elementary. Its time for the parents to start helping to make Brooker a better school. Unfortunately teachers can not do everything by themselves. Great Job Brooker staff members. ????
