I don’t have my kid there, but this is why I didn’t take my son there and why you should investigate a lot before putting your child in any daycare:

I was researching daycares in my area and came across this one. The idea was great: Christian daycare for our baby. Then I decided to go check it out.

As a second time mom, I personally like to never set appointments with daycares, I like to get there and see how they’re treating the kids when NOT expecting any visits. That way we can see more of the real picture.

When I stopped by this daycare, I could hear lots and lots of screams, children crying a LOT, I could hear them with the door locked, from the parking spot. This was the first red flag (yes, I visited other daycares and the kids were happy and not crying and screaming like this one).
Then I knocked, knocked, knocked.. no one would answer the door. Door locked, with no window that we could see what was going on in there.

Then I called, several times. No answer. They returned my call, I said I was there and wanted to see the daycares. The guy literally looked for an excuse to not let me in, he said that the teachers were in a “meeting”. Ok, meeting in the middle of the day? With the kids there? Doesn’t sound like truth. And tried to set an appointment with me for the next day when the responsible for yours” would be there.

That really doesn’t sound like a good place to leave your kid. My friend took her son there, and she said the toddler would only cry, everyday. And she could never step her foot inside of the daycare, the drop off was at the door. I understand this system for older kids, school aged kids, but for day cares? No.

It’s a huge NO for me to leave my kid where I can’t see what’s going on. This place is very sketchy and they hide a lot what they actually doing. Please be careful to where you leave your child.

Kid’s Land Christian School is an excellent early care and educational center. I am a former teacher who later became a Speech Language Pathologist certified and licensed to provide speech and language services in the state of Florida and I have had the opportunity to visit and provide services in this facility for the past few years. As a mother who would have loved to have found a place like this for my kids when I needed it, I feel compelled to share my views. This school is a wonderful place to entrust the care of our youngsters. Everyone genuinely cares about the children. Communication is always open between the teachers, staff, and parents. Teachers and administrators have the expertise to properly support the kids in every face of growing up. There is an age-appropriate environment for each stage. Teachers engage in respectful and meaningful conversations even with the infants, which in my professional experience, promotes cognitive learning and social skills. The curriculum is versatile and conducive to the learning process, allowing children to be invested in the materials and grow exponentially. Extracurricular activities are all year round. Everyone’s imagination takes fly when interacting with farm animals through Petting Zoo, Magicians, Clown shows, Riding Ponies, and Bake on Wheels where they get to decorate cupcakes and donuts. It is indeed an amazing place to spend such fundamental years.

Amazing school that we all love so much. It’s a blessing that both of my children have had the privilege of growing up here with values, good manners, love for God and their friends and shown excellent academic progress. Thank you to all the beautiful teachers and staff at Kid’s Land Christian School for being great teammates and showing love, compassion, happiness and excellence daily in all you do. We need more early childhood educators and administrators that care as much as you all do. Our preschool is a safe, joyful, peaceful, caring fun, loving and welcoming environment. Your hard-work is appreciated and demonstrated daily. ????
