We have been going to kings swim academy for about 9 years. Throughout the years we had many different swim instructors and all of the instructors were great. They are all very talented and made swimming fun. We first started at the San Carlos location, but most recently we switched to the San Mateo location due to a closer commute. Both locations offer all the amenities we needed to keep our children entertained while they are waiting for their class. So if youre looking for a great swim school, kings swim academy is your school.
We’ve had a great experience at King’s. Our 2.5 year old has been going for a year and has made such great strides in learning how to swim and he talks about “pool class” everyday. We’ve had a number of teachers (Devon was our boy’s personal favorite) and they’ve all been friendly and have built good relationships with the kids. We’d absolutely recommend King’s to anybody who is looking for an easy way to have your young child learn invaluable life skills.
We love teacher Nicole T. My son has been swimming with her since he was 4 months old! He is almost 18mo now. She is fun, kind and supportive of all her kids, and is his favorite teacher from all teachers he has. It is fun to see how they built their own little bond. Now that he is walking, he walks to the edge of the pool and waits for her to get him. It shows the comfort level and trust that he has built with her.
