I been with kipp since 2006. My son was a founding scholar at Rise and then attended and graduated from Newark Collegiate Academy. One of my daughters is a founding scholar at Thrive and the other one is also there. The staff at all the sites are wonderful. They treat you like family and are always there when you need them. My kids have strived in many areas, academically and socially.
HI! My name is Jamani Brailsford, and I am a scholar who goes to this wonderful and amazing school.BOLD Academy is a place where students can learn in a positive environment every single day. The teachers believe that every students can and will learn, and that is what makes this school so special to me and all the other students.
This school used to be 18th avenue and I remember coming here when I was around 6 or 7. I’m glad to see that they didnt remove the exterior construction of this school and that Newark is finally stepping up when it comes to education unlike back then which wasn’t so good.
