KLA is my dream daycare. I had always loved my son’s caregivers, but this has been the only place that I feel happy to leave my son and say goodbye to him. All the teachers and administration staff are nice. Ms Elif, the education director, is always aware of everything and everyone and is absolutely in charge of daily routines. Nancy, the front door staff, is the sweetest person. My son’s lead teacher, Ms. Ramen is the coolest and most fun and relax teacher. She is laughing and making everyone happy all the time and at the same time is very strict about discipline and manners. I’ve learned so much from her. Emma is very sweet and kind and all the kids love to see her. Feeding my son is very easy at KLA because the teachers are easygoing and try their best to serve everything parents provide.
Ms. Soraya and Ms. Tayebeh who are teaching the next door class have been so kind and friendly and helping the transition for my son smooth.
The school uses several extra helpers for early morning and evening extended hour care. I love that they are mainly guys so it feels a lot more normal for kids because they see both male and female caregivers.

The school is very bright and colorful. Abundant with colors and supplies and choices. The indoor space is huge and filled with playing equipment. So, the kids don’t miss out too much when they can’t go outside and have a lot of fun playing indoor.
I feel like I won’t be able to decide on moving out of the area as long as my son can go to KLA.

Well, every place has some cons. Here are KLA’s, in my opinion:
There are lots of hidden (or at least not so clear up front) charges. Make sure you read every single word on the admission sheets.
I’m not very happy with security for the reasons that I don’t want to elaborate.

Notwithstanding, KLA is my favorite school.

Daycare and—as I would come to find out later— after school care can be difficult to get into and not always leaving you with heaps of confidence. Enter KLA Schools of Walnut Creek. I was fortunate enough to find this school and space for my two kids in June 2020, site unseen, masks and all. We are still here a few years later (even though we don’t live nearby) and I could not speak more highly of the school at all levels, including Kindergarten. I’m blown away by the teachers and how well they’re able to not only manage classrooms full of kids but do it with grace and enthusiasm each and every day. The school itself is beautiful. Well kept, purpose built and aesthetically pleasing. The staff and teachers somehow know everyone by name and have put a great deal of thought and effort into every facet of the curriculum and care. While every school has its hiccups, especially with a pandemic and constantly changing government mandates, they have been able to adapt well and communicate effectively. No easy feat! I’m truly thankful for the experience my family and I have had with KLA.
My daughter is 2 years old and we have tried 2 other preschools that are nearby my house. She cried every day before going to school. I did some research on Reggio Emilia inspired schools and found out KLA Schools Walnut Creek. It’s a littlefar from my home but I am so glad that I enrolled my daughter in the school. Right from the first day, I could see happiness on her face and she wants to go to school regularly. As a parent, I am assured that my kid is in safe hands and makes my day at work more comforting.
