I remember Bernice Kruze , the chem teacher nobody liked. I look back now that I’m older; graduating with my master’s in biochemistry from stanford this year , all while thinking to myself on this very night ” bernice was the worst chemistry teacher I ever had” . My advice to the students at this school? Don’t let bernice ruin your dreams. if you like science then go for it and dont let her discourage you- even if you fail her class like I did… Yup, I failed her class and it was the ONLY science class in my ENTIRE academic career at both kofa and stanford that I EVER failed. Now that my education surpasses hers I believe it is my right to say I dislike kofa for employing such a terrible instructor for chemistry. Had there been a better chemistry teacher in my time, I would of experienced the wonders of chemistry much sooner.Teachers, It is your job to inspire our children with a passion for discovery , if you fail at that – then you are nothing and need to leave.
Doing my Junior year at Kofa. That school is great, the staff is understanding and works with students. I have some of the best teachers in my whole schooling years. God bless the Kofa Kings!
Spent 4 years of my life there and I loved every second of it despite problems!
