Amazing School, Amazing teachers, Excellent ratios.
This school has a bad reputation across the board and we tasted it. Our son was about to start primary and they told us they were full and we couldn’t enrol him and hope for a vacancy or wait until he completes 6 years old. We decided to call the Ministry of Education and confirmed that the school cannot deny our son and it is their obligation to enrol him after he completes 5 years old and in the next term. Luckily we are moving away from the neighbourhood and not needing to deal with Kohimarama School anymore.
Reception staff were quite rude and unhelpful, the reception lady asked where I reside in orakei and she said no your not in zone. I strongly recommend the lady in blonde to spark up on her social skills as the way she treated me was quite frankly rude. When asked by another staff member how old was my daughter ? I replied saying ” she’s 3″, the other staff member laughed and said a bit too early ? No it’s not when it comes to your babies education. The ladies at reception were rude and would never send my baby girl to this school, can only imagine how they must treat the children
