As a nail student these are my thoughts on the school. Mrs Ortiz was a very kind and understanding teacher she did her best at trying to communicate with me and help me as much as she could. I say this because my 1st language is English and 2nd is Spanish I sometimes had a difficult time understanding things and would wait until theory was over to see if she could explain better on a quick one on one. My issue wasn’t with the teacher at all as she did her very best with around 50 students. And understandably it was hard for her to make her way to each student and give that 1 on 1 time . My issue was more with Ana that told me the class was 50/50 English and Spanish and that’s a total lie. Majority of the students speak Spanish and the class is given in Spanish I would say 95% was in Spanish. This will be a difficult class if you speak English speaking only. Personally I wouldn’t go by what Ana says but ask to speak to the instructor if possible and see if this is the correct choice for you as a student. My other issue was for the cost of our kit it should have come with the basics. We did need to buy some things like drill and lamp I wasn’t expecting that in the kit but the nail scraper and base/top yes and a practice hand yes I was expecting. It is one of the cheapest schools but in the end your paying around the same amount because you end up buying alot stuff and paying for hiv booklet, and i cant recall what else that should have been included in the cost. I would recommend the school but only to those that have a good grasp on speaking Spanish as this was my area I struggled in. You also have to really appreciate that Mrs Ortiz is trying her best to give everyone the attention they need. as someone that started with zero experience in nails I feel as though I learned alot from her and also my classmates that have been practicing nails in their country and now came to school to get licensed. I was fortunate to be a student with Mrs Ortiz.
Let me start out by saying that La Belle Academy is hands down the place to get your Esthetician license. I shopped around and looked at different schools and decided to attend La Belle because they were the one who mostly communicated with me. They allowed me to come see the school, meet my instructor and they also offered the best payment plan. Which is weekly payments ??.

Once I started classes I did not regret it. Ms. Martinez is the esthetician teacher who goes above and beyond to help us understand how to properly use the facial machines, complete facials, tint eyebrows, make up, eyelashes and wax. It really was a Extensive course and we are also encouraged to continue our education after completing the program.

It was bittersweet to finish class but so worth the 300 hours I had to complete. I would highly recommend to go To this school. Everyone is helpful and pleasant to Speak to. Classes are offered in Spanish and English and they also bring 3rd party companies to discuss different products and other opportunities we as esthetician can take.

Hopefully you choose La belle to be apart of such a great family ??

This school was horrible
I graduated from the night course and wow
I didn’t learn anything when I say NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING like literally the teacher is a really nice lady but unfortunately she’s just to old to be teaching I heard with the morning teacher u do learn but she is a very mean lady I’ve heard she makes students cry and all very horrible school waist of money waist of time waist of everything I don’t even know how I got my license I didn’t learn anything I would recomend u look into another school and keep in mind everyone is Spanish speaking like there is not one English person
And on top of that these lil Cubans are all so stuck up they swear they know everything well that is my honest review horrible horrible horrible
From the day time
To the night time
Just horrible there is no winning with this school
And don’t even think about becoming a massage therapist or hair stylist here this is literally a school that only cares about themselves.

They charge y all this money to give u these mean horrible teachers
The nicest lady in there is the cleaning lady the only one worth keeping as an employee
