The director at this place is horrible !! I bieleve her name is Ms tanisha.I was not allowed to drop my kid off until I paid an already paid daycare fee. Then after I paid 2xs they said they issued a refund which I never received! I called multiple times with no calls back!!!! I addressed this with the daycare director and she only said why am I getting angry with her she not getting angry with me?!?! Then she told me it’s out of her hands. Lol and referred me to corporate which is fine but she never called me back I had to call 3xs to receive this information. They also had a “water day” where they got my sons brand new shoes soaking wet bcuz he was not allowed to wear crocs and did not send any info home about this (I called the director and she said she did then I double checked the messages received on that parent app and there was no info on water day or anything about wearing crocs only that my son told me he was not allowed to wear them, anyways he was sitting it wet shoes ALLL DAY had blisters on his feet. And they said sorry they should have put them in the dryer? (How can you put tennis shoes in the dryer without ruining them?) after I called the daycare and complain they had a new excuse and said that he shouldn’t of gone out without water gear. I did call corporate about this situation and received no calls back. My sister also send her daughter and son here where they lost a northface coat for her son and shoes for her daughter. She literally picked her up in no shoes me My other 2 kids go to a level 3 daycare they are 1 and 2 and la petite offers daycare for school age children which is why they are at separate daycares carepoint academy . A daycare which is rated level 3. La petite is rated label 4. Carepoint academy is much more professional and cheaper. I have never had this type of experience with a daycare.had horrible experience. Do not send your kids here
I have no family in the FW area. With this being said I feel this daycare cares more about the bottom dollar than the well being and convenience for the parents. Tuition misinformation, closings, and the inconvenience is why we removed my child from La petite academy.
Teachers were wonderful and I love the education parts of this facility. Which is why I gave 2 stars.
However, this place is very inconsistent with tuition information. My child was there only 6 months and they charged and changed fees three times. Sometimes without notifying parents of these changes and why.
They also are not well educated when it comes to sicknesses. The first 6 weeks he attended there he was sent home almost every week. Even sent home for scratches near his lip assuming it was hands foot and mouth. Frustrating when I have to call the doctor’s office about these issues and they say “what’s the issue now?” Then I have to ask them to dummy write the excuse letter so they don’t misinterpret anything.
Director was talked to about this and explained “everyone is different and I didn’t know he was sent home.” So what process do they go through to call parents about illnesses? Who decides this other than the director?
Once again I’m not from this area. My family lives several hours away. So I rely on my daycare so I can go to work. When they close for education, 2 hour delays etc. this place became more of an inconvenience than it was worth. The tuition isn’t cheap either and it changes every 6 months according to director so if that’s true then it definitely wasn’t worth the money.
For a place that’s demanding $300+ for only 1 child I expect more consistency with being open and doing these educations after closing hours.
Once again if your just looking for a daycare and have a support system in the area then this daycare is perfect but if your like me I would search elsewhere.
They need a better way to communicate to inquire. I understand if the 1877 number don’t have actual information on capacity and if rooms are available. But when people take time out of their day and miss work to come and tour. The least the daycare can do is call before time and let you know if they don’t actually have spots. It just saves everyone time and just customer service friendly. Owner wasn’t even there.
So this negative review is for 877 number and the facility.
