Some people are super parents…and I don’t mean that in the flattering way. I mean overprotective, gripe about the simplest of things, their child can do no wrong, etc. I’m not that parent. I know that kids will be kids and mistakes happen. I have very reasonable expectations when it comes to daycares: teach my child (don’t just babysit), feed/change my child, and send my child home the way I dropped him off. Seems like a nice staff and great curriculum, but I did have to pull my son out after finding scratches on him 6 times (5 on his face, and only 3 of those explained) within the span of little more than 2 weeks. I don’t think it was intentional negligence, but still negligence of some sort nonetheless. As much as I would have liked for him to stay, I simply no longer had the peace of mind that he was safe there. I wish them all the best.
I moved here in Horn Lake, Mississippi and I was so scared to send my girls to a daycare that I didnt no much about but little did I know that God was going to lead me in a great location! The staff at La Petite Academy is my girls second home! They are patient, caring, nurturing and kind to my children! I couldnt have asked for a better location! Mrs Catherine Gates is the Director and shes awesome! Every time I see her shes smiling!! Thank you ladies so much for taking great care of my babies ??????
My daughter has been attending this daycare since November of 2016. We have had many wonderful experiences. Both the Director and Assistant Director are jewels. They have a passion and genuine love for kids. The staff is friendly and very approachable. My daughter loves it here!! She is excelling well. Her vocabulary is phenomenal. As a teacher and a parent, Im very impressed with this daycare. You guys rock!!!??????
