Our daughter has been in attendance at La Petite Academy for almost two years now. We moved her from another La Petite Academy which was excellent to this location because it fit both of our work locations better than any other option. We also thoroughly reviewed and searched before we ultimately chose La Petite. We wanted an environment were our child would be engaged in learning and developmental activities for a significant portion of her day. It was also important to us that our child was not indoctrinated with with any spiritual beliefs, as we believe learning and spirituality start in the home, and separate from education, we believe our child and family should be able to make those choices inside of our home.
Furthermore the staff at La Petite Academy, and specifically this location, is absolutely outstanding. The keep the parents engaged in the children’s daily activities and have functions and extra activities for parents and children. We even found trusted sitters through La Petite as we are very particular about anyone other than family watching our child. We’ve made personal bonds with many of the staff and faculty at La Petite as well, and though it is their job, you can tell that the staff truly cares about the well being and education of our child. I would absolutely recommend this institution to anyone above any other.
When plotting out a daycare/preschool location for our son a few years ago, we felt a little lost. New to the area, and with few friends that had same age children, we basically went by a few online reviews and the convenience of this La Petite location on our work commute trajectories. Well, fortunately, we’ve never had cause to regret bringing our son here. All of the teachers/staff have been wonderful, a few in particular adding that true sense of really taking a profound personal interest and liking of our child–it makes us happy and comfortable each day to know he is with, in a way, extended family. Beyond that, we’ve gotten a sense of our boy’s growth over the past 3 years in all aspects, from social, academic fundamentals and physical skillsets–all of which are due in part to the great work they do at La Petite. He’s made a number of good friends there, and we know he’ll enter school with a love of learning and class interaction that comes from his experiences at La Petite…couldn’t have asked for anything more.
