We sent our daughter to the facility when she was 2.5-month-old. As new parents, we were nervous initially, but after 1-2 weeks, I felt very comfortable sending her to L’Academy in Hayes Valley.

1. Not a single day did she come home with dirty diapers or clothes.
2. Frequent updates and pictures through the app
3. I especially loved the teachers there – Emily, the supervisor of the infant class, is a welcoming and loving person who cares about little children. When I picked our daughter up from school, Emily would share some interesting details of what our daughter did in school that made me smile. Danni, the school director, was always available for questions and concerns. All the other teachers are also very caring and treat everyone well.

Overall, we felt so lucky and grateful to have them taking care of our daughter, especially since it’s tough to find a facility with an infant program, not to mention a good one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and caring environment for their little children.

This is one of the BEST preschools that I’ve come across. Extremely clean facilities, nurturing teachers, caring director, responsive to parent communications, and overall a great place for kids.

Before going to the L’Academy Preschool in Hayes Valley, our baby had not been socialized and was very shy. Director Danni, Teacher Emily, and the entire staff had welcome my daughter with open arms. They made her feel very safe and comfortable, and to the point that she started enjoying going to school within the the first week (!).

On the language immersion front, I was very pleasantly surprised. We speak 2 different languages at home, none was Mandarin. However, our daughter started communicating in and understanding Mandarin after attending the school for 2 months (Mandarin is the 3rd language she’s exposed to).

I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a great daycare/preschool for their child.

I cannot overstate how incredible this daycare program is. Nurturing, solid routine, inviting environment, great toys, lots of skill building, empowerment and confidence building for little kids. Every teacher seems skilled, invested, and attentive. The Mandarin immersion is extensive and a beautiful part of the learning. We have been with L’Academy for over a year. Other pluses: the schedule, coverage year round, location, price, outside time, health protocols, safety, and family socials. Last but not least: Danni, the Director and Emily, the head teacher of the infant/toddler program are amazing women creating this loving community. They are so knowledgeable and accessible. I’ve learned so much from them to make me a better parent. Teacher Mei is also my kid’s favorite so have to mention her here too. We love this program and would recommend it to any family in San Francisco.
