I read a lot of bad things about this school and was concerned about going in. I spent a day there covering science. I can quite honestly say I really enjoyed working with the children and in terms of behaviour I was pleasantly surprised and would have welcomed working with them again.

In terms of cover I do feel the school was disorganised and nothing went as I expected it to do so.

I would warn anyone off working in science though as I felt the head of science lacked people skills and did not make my day as pleasant or welcoming as she could have made it. I personally feel she took out her frustrations on cover staff !

This school failing big time. Leadership team are very weak with teachers leaving job due to lack of support. Bullying amongst children are very high in comparison and leadership failing to follow simple structure put in place by local authorities. Needs a overhaul to serve the hundreds of children unlike serving only the leadership of school.
I called reception on a couple of occasions wanting to speak to certain members of staff, but did not get a call back?
What do they get paid for and are they doing their jobs propperly? principle get a grip on it and address this issue with colleagues.
What a rubbish place for kids.if you want your kids to be drug dealers or other criminals then this place is best for that.they will get to their full potential at the age of just 14.
I saw Kids smoking week outside this school.filthy language I was shocked to see young kids like this.never ever send my kids in that kind of place instead of that I prefer to keep them home.
