I’ve had some of the schools teachers who are very rude and don’t care about their students very much. I went to middle school here and am now in highschool. I’ve had a few amazing teachers and a few horrible teachers. I had one in middle who would mark answers on my test wrong (I had to point them out to her for her to even notice that only MY test the question was marked wrong) and she was fairly racist towards me and other people of ethnic groups. In 10th grade one of my teachers yelled at my class for being too quiet and threatened us with detention. I, who gets stressed out easily and crys easily bursted into tears leading to him canceling his threat and only AFTER he found out that I was a “special care” student a few days later did he apologize which I think is BS because if you make a student cry wouldn’t yo say sorry automatically not with yhe reason ” Im sorry I didn’t know you were on a 504″

The students at the school are fairly rude and they’re everywhere; they weren’t only in the groups you would see as the ‘popular crowd’ but even the regular people are a bit trashy. I walked down a hall and my friend litterraly says to me “this is like the schools hood” which I scoffed at because the comparison.

It was in 1974 that I started 7th grade at Lake Braddock, and went on to graduate in 1980. Talk about the best years and the best teachers it would be those wonderful years that I would brag about. It’s changed a lot since then and I’ve moved around the country and have even lived in Tinian, Hoodsport, WA, Gulfport, MS, Atlantic City, NJ. and there is only one place that I want to go back too and that would be Lake Braddock. If you can handle the driving and the congestion then you’ll be OK. It’s not far from D.C. to check out the sites, and not too far from the Caverns. There is so much history from the civil war in that area. And remember you grow up fast, and life is short. Take your time to check it all out and stop to smell the roses. Have a good day!
