This is about the Summer Camp

I finally decided to speak up about this. I don’t know if the counselors from 2018 and before are still there but they were not good; including the director Ms Jenna. They often showed islamaphobia and xenophobia towards me and some others.

I can still name every single event of this from the back of my head. For example I wasn’t allowed to watch a concert video with others cause I didn’t know any English songs (I spoke and understood English completely). Or that time where I was punched by a boy in front of three counselors and the boy faced no repercussions. Counselor and other camp members making fun of my cultural food.

I’m not sure if they still have TCPs but I was supposed to be one once I reached 8th grade (since that’s the only grade that gets to be TCP) yet I was never made one. Instead they let a 10 year old girl become a TCP while I was never made into one. I can go on and on about this. There was only one counselor that was sweet to me and she was Ms Mary.

I do want to add that once I got injury after a swim and I told a counselor about it. She said she wouldn’t look at it and to let my counselor take a look at it. My counselor kept putting it off and I ended up getting my bottom heel infected.

I may add more experiences later on.

I very recommend Lake Shore Schools in 6759 N Greenview Ave. Our daughter attended LSS for over year and she just left at he end of July. She loved her teachers Ms Monica and Ms Kerrin! They were cheerful and loving. They took education seriously but also play, and my daughter made good friends there. The administration was also very professional and flexible, just lovely all around! You are the best LSS! Thank you??????
It’s a friendly environment, the kids participate in multiple activities everyday including taking walks. It’s great for social activities and staying active. My granddaughter loves school& her teachers.
