Mixed feelings. Some instructors were the absolute best, truly had a passion for the degree you’re working towards. Others were heartless, and non cooperative with college students.
I went to LTC for two separate degrees. The first one I had a terrible experience with one teacher who couldn’t comprehend I don’t have Internet at home and couldn’t be reached via email at night. Automatic fail. Then my second degree I went for I had wonderful helpful teachers, but the school overhyped the program by saying previous grads were making $24/hour +. And so many jobs.
A year out of the program $16 is the pay cap, and 2 years later I can’t find any openings after having my baby.
Trying to work with the school to access my old school email and find a job opening hasn’t been helpful. Emails don’t come back for days to weeks and only half your questions were answered.
So I’m currently jobless and trying to scratch up student loan money.
If I go back to school again I’ll be attending NWTC like my brother.
Great school for the price. IT instructors are well qualified and very helpful to students who seek help. My only complaint is about the advisory staff and the course catalogs. I’m not sure about any other program, but the IT advisor is unhelpful to the point of being complete absent. Questions go unanswered for weeks and ultimately I had to seek help from an instructor. The course catalog for program classes changes often, but students are supposed to follow the catalog that was in effect when they first started at LTC, regardless of the availability of those classes.

Once again, I’d like to praise the instructors for going out of their way to help students, even with matters unrelated to certain classes.
