I really love this school. The teachers and administrative staff, Ms. Carmen in particular are very professional, informative and empathetic to my son. I have also observed the same interest shown to other students as they greet each students in the mornings. Ms. Carmen knows the students by name. My son loves to attend school. He loves his teachers, especially Ms. Leeana Kosnesoff (aka Ms K) who is the teacher every child and parent hope to have. My son’s grades have improved to high 80’s since attending Lamad Academy. I pray these teachers remain with my son to the 12th grade. This is the best my special needs child has ever done in school. He gets Speech, OT, Counseling and PT at least 3 days a week. My son also has a paraprofessional who is awesome. Ms Curry you are awesome! Thank you for all the services my son receives. You are the best social worker ever. When I did not know where to turn, you listened and basically assured me that this was the right school for my child. Hence, my child received all the services he needed and has made a vast improvement, one I was not expecting so quickly. I am the proudest parent ever. I love the fact that it is a small school and so students get the attention they need. Ms Bullock, you are amazing, I could tell the students love you. Zero tolerance for bullying. Love it!!!!

Honestly, a very bad school , the don’t allow the scholars to go to the bathroom the period after lunch or else they won’t be able to go out for recess for 1-2 weeks . Which I think isn’t fair , you cannot dictate children’s bladder. Im tho king about taking my child out of this school , my main problem with the school is the A.P she takes everything very far , and I see why the kids don’t like her . I made a mistake sending my child here but I will be taking my child out of this school at the end of the school year , only for my child’s sake.
