This school is awful my child is a special need child and this school fail him. Haven’t seen any improvement what so ever. Lack of communication my son came home not once but twice with knots on his head. When I confronted the teacher no one knows nothing. My son was bitten by another student (lack of supervision) fail too protect for his safety. To add to that the teacher assistant; Robyn Parks her first year there is not in the best interest of your child. She shows favoritism which the principal had to address and another assistant confirmed it, sad but true. Robyn Parks is the problem that job not for you. I pulled my son out of that school complaint was filed.
New update 10-19-17 even though my son no longer there new finding in June Special Education teacher Charlotte Frier observed my son behavior for 6 months a assessment sheet filled out and fax by her to my son doctor. She not once mention it to me there should have been an intervention plan for him to help him. After bringing it to the the principal attention Mrs.Logoon in June now to find out she didn’t report it to District like she said was now there backs up against the walls. Lambs Elementary y’all won’t get away with this.
My son was in Dorchester 2 school district before starting first grade here and I can see the difference. Everyday I ask him what he learned he says he can’t remember, yet everyday in kindergarten at eagle nest elementary he could tell me new things he was learning. Wasn’t informed of the dress code till AFTER tax free weekend, suspended from school due to missing shot record that the attendant never even requested much less his academic record from his school. Placed in an intermediate reading class which I was told if they had received his transfer record he wouldn’t have been “screened” for the class. The whole school was a disappointment before it even began. Gave it 2 stars because my son hasn’t had problems with the kids, and he likes the school. I think there is a lot of redundancy here that it’s no wonder we are moving because of this school, so my son can get into a better school system. Update: Principal Logan has excellent therapeutic communication, really made me feel like she cared about my concerns and listened to what I had to say without being defensive.
Absolutely hate this school. June 1st is my daughters last day and will be her last day ever at Lambs. We came from Texas and the difference between the school there and the school here is night and day. I just feel like they honestly don’t know what they are doing. It’s absolutely crazy
