I had gone to this school from kindergarten all the way to the seventh grade. I have to say that those have been the worst eight years of my life. After last school year my brother and I changed schools because of the horrid management and just the school in general.
To start with the dress code is strict and makes no sense. I had asked some people on the staff numerous times about the schools reasoning for the dress code and they couldn’t even pretend there was any reasonable explanation for it.
Examples of this terrible dress code:
-You can only wear certain colors of pants and it wasn’t until recently that elementary students could wear any color of a solid color polo.
-If you are wearing shorts, skirt or a skort it can’t be anymore than one inch of the knee. This rule was fairly reasonable until I walked into my first day of sixth grade and they called me out of class, put a ruler to my knee, and got me in trouble because it was barely more than an inch above the knee. It wasn’t even a centimeter more than an inch.
-Kids in kindergarten to 1st grade can’t wear any jewelry, not even cheap plastic ones. This is new to me because when I was that young I sometimes would wear mardi gras necklaces to school and wasn’t told anything about it.
-ect.

Then there is the teachers/academic side of the schools issues
Last school year my brother went through about thirteen teachers in a single math class and wasn’t able to have a solid math course all year. Also the school promotes basically putting everything aside to get the best grades possible, even pushing aside mental health. Considering whenever there was an issue instead of handling it responsibly they would have all of the students having some sort of dispute or quarrel, come in and sit down and just talk. This almost never seemed to end well because this just sparked more tension and anger between students. An example of this would be that a group of female students had gotten into many arguments throughout middle school (based off of what I’ve heard from some of the kids that I’m still friends with these arguments are ongoing)Sometimes I would even be apart of these disagreements. During one of the little “peer mediations” they essentially teamed up on me insulting me and being rude in general. All the guidance counselor did was just sit there and watch it all unfold. The school does the bare minimum to problems because they are too busy trying to make kids get perfect grades.
I fully realised how much the school has ruined my mental health until I changed schools for the first time and I can’t remember a time I’ve been this happy and comfortable as myself.
In conclusion, I would never suggest going to this school because there are so many more things wrong with this school than I could write into one review. If possible I wouldn’t had even given the school one star.

This school is disappointing, my daughter comes home upset all the time because of how much stress this school is causing her. The only good thing about this school is the sports. The teachers do not understand that my daughter is not understanding their meathod of teaching . “Catering to your childs learning” yeah right. Transfering my daughter immediately. She posted her own review and was forced by the school to take it down. Don’t want the truth out?
