First and foremost I would like to address some of the negative reviews that I seen posted about this child care center. PLEASE…. I SEE NOTHING BUT LIES TOLD. I am very much so impressed with the service I have received at this center. My daughter which is special needs requires a lot of one-on-one care and receives that each and every day with no SLACKING. Therefore I definitely believe that LaParade is a Five-Star Award Winning Step Up To Quality Center. Not for that just reason but because the teachers who work there are loving and nurturing to all of the children creating a positive learning environment which specialize in individualized care and still maintain focus on all the children. I have visited some other local childcare centers and some even further out in different counties and they don’t even compare. The environment is always positive the teachers appear happy day to day and I never had a negative vibe about the center. Learning is always taken place and the director is more than an director. She is an educator and her compassion for children and learning excels my expectations especially in child care. I have been to centers where the director never barely comes out of the office and does not do any teaching in the classroom. When I come in and I don’t see her in the classroom I know she’s doing some research in her office to better the center and also educate her workers of being so much more than child care workers. The center is very well kept up ALWAYS clean the materials being used by the children are modern nothing old and out of date. Its bright & and welcoming with children made work. The children there are always happy with smiles on their face. I never walk in to unhappy children and my daughter never wants to leave. My child loves it so much everyday she comes home she can’t wait to tell me about what happen at school. My daughter thinks she attends school and not a daycare which amazes me. To conclude if you don’t like what was offered at LaParade you need to take a look around and I’m sure you’ll be wanting to come back. What’s up the road might be cheaper with a lot more children but at the end of the day your child or children might not learn anything and might not be given the care that’s given at LaParade. I explained to the director about my child and her needs and she did not once ever turn her back or make me feel uncomfortable she called and called me and stayed on top of things and kept me informed and we worked together to provide my child the best possible. To the woman who said her son had a disability and she was made to feel uncomfortable and the director turned her away I turn you away too if you’re in denial about receiving the best care for your child your child’s privacy was not violated information was being seeking to see where to begin to help your child if you can’t see that than you need help yourself get your head out your ASS. The lady who made a comment about the popcorn go beat your feet somewhere else that has nothing to do with the quality of the center. Lastly my last thought the lady who said she want to call Fox 8 news you should call them and vote them the best center in Cuyahoga. To see these negative statements and remarks made about the place where my child attends offends me.
My experience her was very short and far from sweet. The very first day of having my children enrolled, my school a here were not picked up from school as scheduled. They were forgotten as a matter of fact! The day after school for van hour as the principle had to hunt me down on the first day of my new job, which I had to leave early to pick my babies up. They were negligent since day one of us attending the facility.
Secondly, my 3 yr old who was also enrolled came to me letting me know that did had not provided tissue in the rest room for them. He refused to use it because of this. The next day, I respect fully mentioned this and asked if there was tissue available in the bathroom for the children (because I am aware that some centers take it out because smaller children may easy it ect. ) but the whole point of being there is to learn these skills of being independent and responsible.
Ms Rice mentioned to me that all he has to do was come out and ask for tissue(which makes no sense to me( who uses the toilet then have to get up all messy, to ask for tissue??
So, I as it was bought to my attention..they took offense of me asking them if tissue was available(around other parents which shows guilt and pride I guess) they wanted to have a meeting with me because of this. Which I was open to but didn’t feel it was that serious. Once we met in Ms Perry’s office (thebowner) she let me know that they were very uncomfortable of our presence. That told me enough, I decided at the very moment we were leaving and not returning. I think these elder women are prideful and very sensitive (as she said I’m her own words..that they are very sensitive)
This is not a 5 star facility in my opinion…after the first incident of them neglecting my children at school as I trusted my babies in their custody, I should have removed them that day.
I was there exactly one week..and I feel disrespected by their rudeness and egotistical approach.
