People are friendly enough but don’t ever apply here or ask for a job!! They don’t pay you for training at all because they can get away with it as part of a school system. Crazy thing is you actually have to pay them for training. You pay to let them teach you how to drive. “Well the pay is decent once you’re done right?” The pay is decent if you get a job…. yes you can go through everything and train and spend up to two months and hundreds of dollars getting seen by a doctor out of pocket to get a physical out of pocket, take classes commuting, and take tests and get your cdl out of pocket and you still can’t get a full time position or even a consistent part time position because they dont offer that. You’re basically a sub for a while for all the drivers calling off and no benefits. Just don’t.
I understand the bus can run behind schedule. Especially the first day of school. Throw in a new driver and it’s a complete disaster. My kids got home at almost 430. Daughter gets out of school at 230 from high school. Always got home no later than 345 for the last 11 years. Hopefully tomorrow this drivers gets it together. I hope.
