I recently got accepted into this college and thought it was very nice from the reviews and stuff i heard from other students, but in reality it is just a disguise from what it really is. The moment i stepped foot into the campus i could smell the stench of one of the students in the Japanese class, i even saw him edge once while the teacher looked away, there was also an instance where he opened up his phone secretly and edged to a PICTURE of a fellow student in the classroom, he is such a delinquent.
Teachers and other staff are super friendly and helpful, students are inclusive and caring. This college offers a wide variety of courses from automotive classes to hairdressing to accounting, once you get used to the layout it is easy to navigate yourself to where you need to be
Attended for both years 11 and 12, some teachers were annoying but never had a problem with the ones I had in my classes. Couldn’t fault the facilities which included a swimming pool and sauna as well as two gyms and squash courts. Other facilities such as a mechanics shop, technical drawing room, library, wood and metal work, computer labs and more. Overall a decent quality education with all the flaws that come with being in school after 14 years.
Launceston College is alright but their internet is really bad. In this day of age Schools need to have good internet so the students can actually do their work.
Good school! Teachers are great and the facilities are good
