I cant describe how much I regret giving this school my money. I paid out of pocket to send my wife to this school. Now the only teacher there that actually made it a point to have the students apply themselves and not just cruise by while doing the bare minimum was fired. Why? All because the parents of these lazy entitled students complained about her trying to make them better. I sincerely hope that these people get what they wished for while they collected hours and just get their certification only to go work somewhere and have no clue what theyre doing. Swiftly getting complaints and no compensation in tips from customers until they get fired, only to wonder why they didnt apply themselves when a lively hood wasnt on the line.
I went here for school as a cosmetology student and I learned so much here! Instructors were very helpful and it was a very comfortable, and inviting environment as well as a great learning environment I loved making so many friends here and being able to pursue my career. Honestly I had a rough start to my career path at another school but coming here gave me hope again and it was a great choice! I feel as if you get a great feel for what its like in the field going here you gain so much experience! I am taking the state boards test soon and then I can finally get a job in the career field Ive always wanted to work in!
I am extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and manners that were displayed during my visit yesterday. My hair texture is between 4A & 4B, therefore its always a risk that I take when it comes to my hair. The instructor stood by the student until she felt comfortable with completing my hair on her own. I am very pleased with the styles that were displayed and I will be back again. Thank you LBI for reaching your students not to be nervous to work with different hair textures.
