I am a student at Lausanne and I’m using my mom’s email for this. I love it here! There is a huge choice of lunch and the teachers are nice. I am in Middle School at Lausanne and we have houses like in Harry Potter! Not to mention house competition and prefects/heads. We have three gyms and common time. We have zero hour which is and hour before school for finishing homework and working on other stuff. For me? I make short films for the middle school online newspaper. We have electives too! Our choices are Art, Band, Drama, Chorus and more! I have Art and Drama.But everyone has to have S.T.E.A.M. What is S.T.E.A.M you ask? S=Science,T=Technology,E=Engineering,A=?,M=Math. We also have Sports Fest Arts Fest which is sports in the morning and art in the afternoon. In conclusion, I love Lausanne!
My daughter has attended LCS since PK and loves it. We are extremely pleased with the school, their staff and especially teachers. Our daughter has learned some remarkable things at Lausanne and we look forward to her going all the way through high school graduation. Lausanne is a non-denominational school that stresses diversity and equality among all. It is rare in this area to find an institution that espouses such qualities. Lausanne is a jewel in the bluff city. A rare one at that.
I was there briefly; saw parts of the elementary/lower school: Awesome playground, good set up for parent and student volunteering, well structured classroom and library, beautiful interior (shockingly including the indoor cafeteria and outdoor patio), and exterior. Students and staff genuinely appeared happy
