Beautiful place to sit, write, meditate, or take photos. One of the most interesting places on campus. The architecture is very unique compared to other buildings (I believe it was modeled after Cambridge? Looks just like areas of Yale’s campus), you are transported to another world!
Very beautiful architecture and pathways and grasses to lie on when the weather is nice. This is perhaps the most beautiful place on the UMich campus and a must see place in Ann Arbor. When I was a senior in high school I had some of my senior pictures taken here.
Objectively the best, most relaxing place on campus. May squirrels roam around here. Grass is comfy. Benches all around. Very quiet and peaceful (unless the feats nearby play music). Always recommend coming by for a walk, study spot, or just to sit down at.
