I’m not one to leave a poor review on a company, but I felt strongly to voice my concerns for how this place is treating our youth. First off I was over the moon excited for my children to join this summer camp program. When I toured their facility I felt so good about this place and was so excited for my kids to have a fun and safe environment to go during their summer break. But it only took me two weeks in to realize that is not the case. I hate to even write this out but anyone can enter and exit this building at anytime. So anyone off of the street can come in and interact with your children. (I so hope this doesn’t happen with this knowledge). Also there is no teacher parent communication. I feel like this is something very important that is missing through this facility. I was also very put off by the fact that they allow YouTube to be shown to our children.. on top of that there is a lot of screen time that is offered. And lastly from day one I never felt like my children was their number one priority. Staff member talk down to children with a harsh and loud tone. By me typing out this bad review I hope they see it and make some changes for a future camps.
This place is fraudulent on so many levels. First off they should take the name “Christian ” out of their name. Far from it. Ran by a money hungry family who hires their relatives as teachers who are highly unqualified. The list of complaints about this school could stretch to salt lake city. They will randomly charge you hundreds of dollars for “school supplies” even though we pay an outrageous amount for tuition. The teachers are highly incompetent and uneducated. Giving kids college level work and course loads in jr high. Unlike these teachers I went to college so I know what that looks like. Theres a particular jr high science teacher who is lazy as hell. They sent out an email asking if parents could teach classes which is absurd. Somebody organize a meeting with all parents and all the school officials so we can air out these grievances and get some answers. We pay thousands of dollars to send our kids here so we’re entitled to that. Until these things are fixed I stand by this statement and I suggest nobody sends their children here. You will regret it.
I gave one star because zero is not an option. I dont know what this school did to my friend but everytime she talked about it (with either me or her therapist) she can not finish the story because there was too much traumatized to be re-living it again. She graduated two years ago and now a sophomore at the University of Utah. Yet, the school is still haunted her. She have to deal with lots of mental health problems now. Dont get me wrong, she have lots of friends but it was the school that treated her terrible. She was an international student and have no family member to stand up for the unfairness from the school administrator. As im saying, for the sake of your children’s mental health, runaway from this horrible place. It is unholly in everyway.
